Leonard Mayo

Research Analyst

Leonard Mayo’s career has given him the opportunity to serve as a Licensed Addiction Counselor, Certified Recovery Coach, and a Trained Resource Specialist over the last 14 years. He received an associate degree from the University of Akron, Ohio in Community Services Tech with Addiction Options.

Leonard is currently the Shelter Operation Manager for LIHI (Low Income Housing Institute) in Seattle, Washington. The mission of LIHI is to take homeless people off the street and place them in supportive or independent housing which are tiny home villages. These tiny homes house people temporarily until they are prepared to move to the next step. Leonard currently operates and manages these tiny home villages incorporating the skills he has obtained over the years to successfully advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness or other challenges.
